My friend recently gave me a 1985 Cadillac Seville and I tried turning the cassette player on, but all that happened was the antenna came up. I can't get a tape to play or the radio to work. After putting the dash install kit in and connecting the wires through the required harness I plugged it into my stereo and it didn't work. It got power, but there is no sound. Is there some switch I need?
